About Me
I'm Benci Magpoc, a full-stack software engineer
My name is Benci Magpoc. I am a full-stack software engineer who specializes in C# and ASP.Net Core. I help organizations leverage software technologies by turning their ideas into well-developed solutions for their business problems.
I am a United States Air Force veteran who has a background in civil engineering as a fire alarm systems administrator. While performing my duties as an Airman, I have gained an enormous amount of discipline and knowledge in engineering principles.
Combined with my undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems; leadership and relevant skills that I acquired from my military service; I will become a great asset in the future for your organization.
My Skills
I solve problems by using my creativity and industry best practices. I build full-stack web applications using C# ASP.Net, Html, Javascript, and Bootstrap CSS.
I use C# on a daily basis to build websites and mobile applications. You can see examples of my work implementing C# in my projects sections.
I use proven design patterns and frameworks to build websites. ASP.NET Core Web and MVC fits the bill for most projects. Visit my projects to see examples.
Javascript is the language of the web. I use vanilla js and I am comfortable with many js frameworks. Check out my challenges section for some js projects.
I use HTML, CSS and Bootstrap build to beautiful responsive websites. Bootstrap is my go to CSS framework. Many shy away from front-end I embrace it.
SQL is the language of the database. My projects all utilize a database. I have used Postgres on all them. I can write SQL on any DB platform.
Amazon Web Services is the leading cloud platform in the market. Most government agencies use AWS as their main cloud service solutions. I am working on a certification for AWS Developer Associate which will make me a more competitive software engineer in the market.
Things I have built
Showcasing complete functional projects demonstrates what I can bring to your project. I built these projects from the ground up to demonstrate skill with front-end, back-end, security and database development. Challenges
Coding challenges are smaller in scope and scale than my full-stack projects. These problems are fun to solve and also showcase some UI skills and front-end dev skills and javascript.
